Saudi Arabia Ranks 12th in Global Tourist Spending

Saudi Arabia has made significant progress in the tourism sector, rising 15 places in international tourist spending and achieving 12th place globally in 2023, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
The Kingdom topped the G20 countries with a 73% increase in international visitor numbers, and international tourism revenues grew by 207% from January to July 2024 compared to the same period in 2019.
These achievements are a landmark in the Kingdom’s tourism development journey, reflecting its ongoing commitment to enhancing infrastructure and tourism services, thereby strengthening its position as a global tourist destination competing with the world’s leading destinations.
