The UN High Commissioner for Refugees reported that more than 101,497 Sudanese refugees have arrived in Libya since April 2023, with around 65,000 entering through the city of Kufra alone, at a rate of 300 to 400 arrivals daily.
The organization noted that this figure includes 30,707 newly registered Sudanese, bringing the total number of registered refugees in its records to 50,082.
Refugees are facing difficulties in meeting their basic needs, which increases pressure on the infrastructure.
