The OPEC Plus group, which includes Saudi Arabia and Russia, has announced the extension of oil production cuts until the end of December, hindering the possibility of price declines.

This move, involving eight countries, aims to prevent an increase in market supply at a time when oil prices are hovering around $70 per barrel amid declining demand.

OPEC Plus was established in 2016 to address the challenges posed by American competition in the oil market.
