Turkey has submitted a joint letter to the United Nations signed by 52 countries and organizations, calling for a halt to the supply and delivery of arms and munitions to Israel, as announced by its Foreign Minister on Sunday.
Hakan Fidan also warned during a press conference held at the Turkey-Africa Partnership Conference that if Israel attempts to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities, the likelihood of the conflict spreading to other countries will increase.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan called on the United Nations in mid-October to issue a resolution banning arms sales to Israel, emphasizing that this would be an effective solution for ending the conflict in Gaza.
