The Emirati oil company “ADNOC” announced on Wednesday that it has agreed to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the German company “SIVI” for a period of 15 years.

According to the company’s statement, ADNOC will provide “SIVI” Trading and Marketing, a subsidiary of the German “SIVI” Group, with one million metric tons of LNG annually.

Fatima Al-Nuaimi, Executive Vice President of Gas Processing, Refining, and Petrochemicals at ADNOC, stated that the LNG supplied from the Ruwais Low-Carbon LNG project will contribute to Germany’s energy supply, where natural gas accounts for more than a quarter of its energy needs.
