French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian clarified on Thursday that he sees “opportunities” to end the wars in Gaza and Lebanon following Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. elections.
Le Drian confirmed after meeting with his Israeli counterpart Yisrael Katz in Jerusalem that there are possibilities to end the tragedy the region has been experiencing since October 7, pointing out that the election of a new U.S. president brings the will to put an end to the ongoing wars in the Middle East.
