Chinese President Xi Jinping has received Italian President Sergio Mattarella in Beijing as part of Mattarella’s six-day official visit to China.
The meeting between the two presidents included talks and the presentation of the results of the Italy-China Cultural Forum, as well as the signing of agreements between the two countries, according to a statement from the Italian presidency.
The Italian President visited the exhibition ‘Journey of Knowledge – Marco Polo and his legacy between East and West’ at the Museum of World Art and met with embassy staff and representatives of Italian institutions in the Chinese capital at the Italian Cultural Institute.
