3 PKK Members Killed in Turkish Airstrike in Northern Iraq

The Counter-Terrorism Directorate of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced on Sunday that an airstrike carried out by Turkey using a drone resulted in the death of 3 members of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq on Saturday evening.
The directorate stated in a statement, quoted by an international news agency, that the attack targeted a vehicle in a mountainous area near Duhok city, leading to the death of the 3 individuals, one of whom was a senior official in the PKK.
Turkey continues to carry out airstrikes on PKK militants in northern Iraq, where it maintains several military sites in the region.
