King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah set a new record, with a total of 161,189 passengers arriving and departing in a single day. The airport welcomed 79,994 incoming passengers and saw 81,195 departing passengers.

The total number of flights on that day reached 817, with an average of 34 flights per hour.

The CEO of Jeddah Airports Company, Eng.Mazen Jawher, confirmed that this milestone reflects the airport’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency to keep up with the continuous increase in passenger numbers, and that this achievement contributes to the company’s strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
