Barcelona’s Spanish club has confirmed that forward “Ansu Fati” will be sidelined for four weeks due to an injury to his right hamstring sustained during today’s training session on Wednesday.
This injury comes at a challenging time for the 22-year-old Fati, who has struggled with health issues in recent years that have affected his performance, despite his breakout year in 2019.
Fati is expected to miss several upcoming matches, including the much-anticipated UEFA Champions League clash against Brest on the 26th of this month, as well as La Liga matches against Celta Vigo, Las Palmas, Mallorca, and Real Betis.
This injury represents yet another setback in Fati’s career, as he has struggled to cement his place in coach Hansi Flick’s squad since his return to Barcelona after a loan spell at Brighton & Hove Albion last season.
