The elected U.S. President, Donald Trump, announced on Wednesday his nominations for a group of close allies to take key positions in his administration.
The appointments included choosing “Pete Hegseth” as Secretary of Defense, “Kristi Noem” as Secretary of Homeland Security, and “John Ratcliffe” as Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Additionally, “Stephen Witkoff” was named Special Envoy to the Middle East, and “Mike Huckabee” was nominated as Ambassador to Israel.
Trump also selected “Elon Musk” and “Vivek Ramaswamy” to lead the newly established “Government Efficiency Office,” an entity aimed at reforming federal bureaucracy and reducing government spending.
These nominations reflect Trump’s focus on strengthening homeland security and reducing the size of the federal government.
