The organizers of the Formula 1 championship have confirmed an agreement to extend the Monaco Grand Prix until 2031, along with a schedule change to June starting in 2026 to avoid overlapping with the Indianapolis 500.

Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of Formula 1, expressed his satisfaction with the continuation of the race in Monaco, calling it a historic icon. He also emphasized that the new agreement will help improve race organization and reduce environmental impact.

The Monaco Grand Prix remains one of the most-watched races in the championship, attracting over 70 million viewers worldwide this year.
