Military police in the Federal District announced on Thursday that they had found explosives in the home of Brasilia bomber Francisco Wanderlei in Cilandia, an administrative district about 30 kilometres from the centre of the capital.
Francisco died on Wednesday night when he blew himself up with explosives near the Square of the Three Powers, close to the Supreme Court.
Brazilian security forces found explosives in his car in a car park belonging to the Chamber of Deputies, next to the court.
Military police bomb squad experts searched the area and found three other devices, which were neutralised to ensure the safety of the personnel investigating the incident, who are also civilian police. The site and Francisco’s body were only discovered Thursday .
