Protesters stormed the parliament building in Sukhumi, Abkhazia’s capital, to oppose a proposed law allowing Russians to purchase property in the breakaway region.

The session to discuss the law, scheduled for Friday, was postponed after demonstrators gathered outside the government complex, leading to clashes with police.
