According to data released yesterday by the General Administration of Customs, the trade volume between China and Brazil reached 1.14 trillion yuan in the first 10 months of this year, up 9.9 per cent year on year.
It is also 4.7 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of China’s foreign trade.
Exports to Brazil totalled 432.08 billion yuan, while imports amounted to 708.15 billion yuan, both maintaining a steady growth trend. By 2023, China will be Brazil’s largest trading partner and export destination for 15 consecutive years, and Brazil has long been China’s largest trading partner in Latin America.
