40 Killed in Attack by Rapid Support Forces in Sudan’s Al-Jazeera State

 

Forty people were killed in an armed attack carried out by the Rapid Support Forces on the village of Wad Ashieb in Al-Jazeera State, central Sudan, which has been in the midst of an ongoing war for over a year and a half.
According to medical sources and local testimonies, the attack began on Tuesday evening and resumed on Wednesday morning, with the attackers also engaging in looting.
