The Russian army confirmed on Friday that it has taken control of the town of Novodmytrivka near Kurakhove in Donetsk.
In a statement from the Russian Ministry of Defense, it was announced that five new towns have been liberated, including Leninsky, Novovalksiyivka, Novoselydovka, and Ilinka.

The ministry also reported that units from the “Dnieper” group targeted Ukrainian forces, resulting in estimated losses of around 530 soldiers and military equipment.
