A South Korean official reported that Russia has provided North Korea with anti-aircraft missiles and air defense equipment in exchange for sending approximately 10,000 troops to support the war in Ukraine.

South Korea’s National Security Advisor, Shin Won-sik, confirmed that Moscow has granted Pyongyang economic and technical support and that North Korea plans to use these weapons to defend its airspace.
