Emergency Meeting of Arab League Council to Discuss Israeli Threats to Iraq

The Arab League Council will hold an emergency meeting at the level of permanent representatives tomorrow, Sunday, to discuss Israeli threats to Iraq.

The Arab League’s General Secretariat confirmed it received a request from Iraq to convene an extraordinary session. The request included references to threats from the Israeli occupation mentioned in a letter to the Security Council, highlighting the occupation’s attempts to expand its aggressive practices to include Iraq.

Iraqi Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein confirmed that his country had received threatening messages from the Israeli occupation but had not responded to them.
