Israeli intelligence agency Mossad and Emirati intelligence services are investigating the disappearance of an Israeli cleric affiliated with the Orthodox “Chabad” movement, amid growing suspicions that he may have been kidnapped or assassinated by entities linked to Iran.

Israeli security agencies report that information indicates “the man has been missing since last Wednesday, with a possibility that he was under surveillance by terrorist groups before his disappearance and loss of communication”.

Israeli security forces are coordinating with Emirati authorities to locate him, but no additional details have been released.
