A massive fire broke out in the Isla Puting Bato neighborhood of the Tondo district in Manila, destroying hundreds of shanty homes and displacing around 10,000 residents.

The Manila Fire Department reported that the fire ignited late at night, prompting immediate calls for firefighters to control the blaze.
