Violent sectarian clashes broke out in northwestern Pakistan, lasting for three days, resulting in at least 82 deaths and 156 injuries, according to a local official on Sunday.

The official from the Kurram region in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who requested anonymity, stated that the victims included 16 from the Sunni community and 66 from the Shia community, according to foreign media sources.
