Australian swimmer Emma McKeon, the most decorated Olympian in Australia’s history, has announced her retirement at the age of 30 after an illustrious career.
McKeon secured 14 Olympic medals, including 6 golds, and notably excelled at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where she won 7 medals, setting a new record.
Despite early challenges, such as failing to qualify for the 2012 London Olympics, McKeon went on to become Australia’s most decorated Olympian.
