Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler announced the clearing of areas in northern Iraq from PKK militants, emphasizing the recent improvement in relations with Iraq.

Güler added that Turkey is cooperating with the Kurdistan Region to combat terrorism, and that Operation “Claw-Lock” continues to ensure peace in the region.
