The Brazilian police released a report on Tuesday stating that former President Jair Bolsonaro was actively involved in the 2022 coup attempt aimed at preventing Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva from taking office.

The report, which was submitted to the Brazilian Attorney General, indicated that Bolsonaro was fully aware of a plot that included plans to assassinate Lula, his vice president, and a Supreme Court judge.
