Trump appoints Jameson Greer as U.S. Trade Representative

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump revealed on Wednesday the appointment of attorney Jameson Greer as the U.S. Trade Representative, making him the key official responsible for implementing the economic agenda of the upcoming administration.
In a statement,Trump said that Greer, who previously served as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Trade Representative under Robert Lighthizer, played a key role during his first term in imposing tariffs on China and others to combat unfair trade practices.
