The Egyptian Cabinet launched the first voyage of the Egyptian-Italian Ro-Ro line, connecting Damietta Port to Trieste Port in Italy.

Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly stated that this initiative aims to transform Egypt into a regional hub for transport and logistics, enhancing its role as a logistical link between Europe and Africa.

This line will also help facilitate the export of Egyptian products, especially agricultural goods, to European markets.
