A Ukrainian court sentenced a woman from the Donetsk region to 15 years in prison on Thursday for passing sensitive military information to Russia.
The convicted woman moved to Zhytomyr last year, where she made online contact with a Russian intelligence officer, providing him with photos and information about military facilities, as well as pinpointing their locations using GPS.
This case is one of thousands related to collaboration with Moscow since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
