The Turkish-backed factions in northwestern Syria reported today (Saturday) that they have launched a new military operation against Kurdish forces and the Syrian army, named Dawn of Freedom.

They confirmed that the operation aims to liberate areas allegedly occupied by the Syrian army and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), noting their involvement in the liberation of Aleppo as a step toward achieving the ultimate goal of liberating all Syrian territories.
