Zelensky Proposes NATO Protection for Ukrainian Territories to End the War

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on NATO on Friday evening to provide security guarantees for the Ukrainian territories controlled by Kyiv in order to end the hot phase of the war.
Zelensky explained his willingness to delay the restoration of territories seized by the Russian army if the agreement ensures the security of the rest of Ukraine.
These comments come amid escalating tensions, as Russia threatened to strike government buildings in Kyiv and launched attacks on Ukraine’s energy sector.
