Romanians are participating in parliamentary elections today, after the first round of the presidential elections saw right-wing candidate Călin Georgescu take first place.
Today’s elections will determine the new government and prime minister, as well as the composition of the legislative body, which consists of 323 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 133 seats in the Senate.
These parliamentary elections come a week after the right-wing candidate received the highest percentage of votes in the first round of the presidential elections.
