According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, armed factions have managed to seize full control of the city of Aleppo, Syria’s second-largest city, for the first time since the beginning of the conflict.
The levant liberation committee and allied factions now control the city, except for the neighborhoods held by Kurdish forces.
Meanwhile, the Syrian army has strengthened its presence around the city of Hama following the advances made by armed factions in the north of the country, where a surprise attack was launched in several areas.
The fighting has resulted in the deaths of more than 330 people, including civilians and military personnel, amid continued escalation in several parts of the country.
