UN Suspends Aid Deliveries Through Kerem Abu Salem Crossing

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) has announced a suspension of aid deliveries through the Kerem Abu Salem crossing, due to security concerns.

UNRWA chief Philippe Lazzarini stated that the route has been unsafe for months, citing the theft of a large convoy of aid trucks on November 16.

Attempts to deliver food trucks yesterday also resulted in theft, prompting the agency to halt operations at this critical crossing.
