China Denounces Lithuania’s Expulsion of Diplomats

China has condemned Lithuania’s decision to expel three diplomats, stating that this action violates bilateral relations.

A spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry described the expulsion as “unjustified” and “provocative,” warning of possible countermeasures from Beijing.

In response, Lithuania announced the expulsion of “three unaccredited members” of the Chinese mission, giving them a week to leave the country, citing the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations.

China urged Lithuania to halt any actions that could affect its sovereignty.
