UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres pointed out on Monday that Gaza, which has been suffering from a genocidal war for over a year, has recorded the highest rate of amputee children in the world relative to its population.

Guterres added during a conference in Cairo that many people are losing limbs and undergoing surgeries without anesthesia, considering what is happening in Gaza one of the most severe international crimes.
