The United Nations Calls for $47 Billion to Address Humanitarian Crises

The head of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, has called for raising over $47 billion by 2025 to address the increasing humanitarian crises.

He noted that more than half of the $50 billion aid target for 2024 has not been met.

The United Nations aims to assist 190 million people in urgent need amid escalating conflicts and climate crises.
