European Commission Criticizes Hungarian Government for “Misleading Information” in Financial Plans

The European Commission criticized the Hungarian government for significant errors in its financial plans, with European Commissioner for Economy, Valdis Dombrovskis, describing these plans as lacking essential information and relying on unreliable data.

In a letter to Hungarian Finance Minister Mihály Varga, Dombrovskis pointed out the government’s delay in presenting a clear and realistic financial plan, which threatens the relationship between Hungary and Brussels.
