UK: Storm Dara Causes Power Outages and Train Cancellations

British authorities have issued an emergency life-threatening warning due to Storm Dara, which has led to power outages in thousands of homes and train cancellations.
The red warning was activated early on Saturday morning in parts of Wales and South West England, urging residents to stay indoors and avoid driving.
In this context, more than 12,600 homes in the Midlands and South West England have lost power, along with 20,000 homes in Wales. The storm also caused the cancellation of numerous flights at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.
