Former President John Dramani Mahama won the Ghanaian presidential election after his opponent, Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, conceded defeat.

In a press conference on Sunday, Bawumia stated, “The people of Ghana have spoken, and the people have voted for change at this time, and we humbly respect that.”

This election serves as evidence of the voters’ desire for change, as Mahama returns to power after a period of absence.
