Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip have resulted in the deaths of at least 16 Palestinians in separate attacks in the central part of the territory.

Five members of one family, including children, were killed in an attack on a displacement camp in Deir al-Balah in the early hours of Sunday.

The total number of fatalities in Gaza has risen to 44,708, while Israeli forces continue to besiege and bombard the Kamal Adwan Hospital and the entire region.
