Washington and Ankara have reached an agreement for the withdrawal of U.S.-backed Syrian Kurdish forces from the besieged city of Manbij.

This agreement aims to prevent military escalation amid rising tensions in northern Syria and ensure the safe withdrawal of Kurdish forces.

It also includes arrangements for the city’s administration post-withdrawal in coordination with Turkey-backed local factions.
