More than one million people have been killed and injured in Ukraine since the start of the Russian-Ukrainian war in February 2022, according to North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
Speaking in Brussels today (Thursday), NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said: ‘Every week, more than 10,000 people are killed or wounded across Ukraine, 370,000 soldiers have been treated for injuries, and half of them have returned to military service.
This war is causing more destruction and death every day,’ he added, as quoted by German news agency DPA.
