The demonstrators are protesting the police’s handling of previous protests, demanding an investigation into police actions.

These protests erupted following the roof collapse of a train station on November 1, which resulted in 15 deaths, with protesters blaming widespread corruption for the incident and calling for democratic changes in the country.
