The new authority in Syria has announced that the constitution and parliament will be frozen during the three-month transitional period.

The spokesman for the political department of the transitional government, Ubaida Arnaout, said yesterday it was decided that the transitional period will last three months until the new government is formed, and of course the constitution and parliament will be frozen during this period.
