General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sudanese Sovereignty Council, announced on Monday that the army is preparing 30 mobile forces to regain control of Khartoum and the Gezira State from the Rapid Support Forces.

Al-Burhan confirmed in his speech to the soldiers that the forces would not stop until the militia is defeated or disarmed.

He also emphasized his complete rejection of any negotiations or ceasefire with the Rapid Support Forces. He added that the armed forces are preparing to face the Rapid Support Forces in Madani.
