Iranian President Masoud Bazeshkian will visit Egypt on Thursday to attend the G8 summit, the Iranian Foreign Ministry has announced.

Iranian media revealed a few days ago that Iranian President Masoud Pazeshkian will visit Cairo this week to attend a meeting of the Group of Eight Islamic Developing Countries for Economic Cooperation and Development (G8).

On Thursday, Cairo will host the summit of the Group of Eight Islamic Developing Countries for Economic Cooperation and Development (G8), which is expected to discuss ways to deal with global economic and political changes.

The summit will be held at the presidential level and will be attended by the presidents of the eight member countries, including Egypt, namely Bangladesh, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
