Israeli occupation forces have advanced 9 kilometers into the Daraa countryside in southern Syria, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights on Wednesday.

The observatory, which documents events in Syria, reported that “Israeli forces entered the village of Koya and the historic al-Wahda Dam near the Syrian-Jordanian border, establishing positions in strategic locations after warning residents to surrender their weapons in the area.”
