One person was killed and nine others were injured in a mass shooting in Baltimore, Maryland, on Tuesday, police said.

In a statement posted on social media, the Baltimore Police Department said it was investigating the shooting, which occurred tonight in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard and resulted in several people being hospitalised. The investigation is ongoing.

Officials said the mass shooting occurred at a funeral home, and the first officer on the scene found a burned-out car next to the funeral home.
