The state of Indiana carried out the execution of Joseph Corcoran (49 years old) in its prison after he was convicted of murdering four individuals, marking the state’s first execution in 15 years.

The Department of Corrections announced that the details of the crime date back to July 1997, when Corcoran was convicted of killing his brother James and his sister’s fiancé, Robert Scott Turner, along with two other individuals.
