The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) in Sudan has announced that its office in the Yabus area of Blue Nile State was hit by an airstrike carried out by the Sudanese army, resulting in the deaths of three organization staff members.
In its first official response, the Sudanese Foreign Ministry confirmed that it would launch an investigation into the incident.
Airstrikes continue across the country, with new attacks reported in areas of North Darfur, causing significant casualties.
